I had promised that before we start on the actual plane that we\u2019d finish at least one of the practice kits, and last night we pulled the final rivet. It isn\u2019t exceedingly pretty, not is it perfect, but it helped us think about how to build something from metal, and begin developing needed skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was an experience I think all builders should go through. Actually, I think everyone who has never worked with aluminum should take one of the beginner classes offered by the EAA, or Van\u2019s. Unfortunately, with the COVID-19 pandemic still raging, there aren\u2019t any being offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project updates:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The kit is Paris for and awaiting shipping, the hangar paperwork is with the city for signatures and the insurance is paid and active.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve finished it!
